Wu’s Tai Chi Chuan

The warm-ups and forms of Wu’s Tai Chi Chuan improve balance both mental and physical, coordination, and flexibility. The soft flow of movement and energy puts no strain on joints of the body, making it a suitable exercise for almost anyone. The 90 minute classes will consist of warm-ups taken in part from the Wu family Chi Kung forms, basic ‘walking’, and teaching of the first eight forms of the 108 standard form. No special clothing is required, as this is not a sweaty exercise; just be comfortable. Footwear (sneakers or soft flats) is recommended but not necessary.

Fridays, 1:30-3pm • 6 weeks, May 11 – June 15, 2012 • Cost: $75
