'Meet the Artist' Speaker Series

Behind the performance and the painting is a person driven by passion and adedication to excellence. An artist challenges us to see the world in new ways; confronts us with the truth and dazzles us with beauty. An artist has the power to crystallize our most important moments. An artist evokes emotions and reaches the soul.

This series of encounters with the artists among us will allow you to meet the people who enrich our lives and define our culture. Thanks to new funding by the City of Saint John's Community Arts Board, Saint John Arts Centre will be able to continue this popular innovative program. The centre invites interested artists working in any media to submit a proposal for a
30-45 minute talk on their work. Please send contact information and a brief outline of your work and proposed topic to info@saintjohnartscentre.com or call 506-633-4870.
