Members Appreciation

The Saint John Arts Centre appreciates their members

A lovely time was had my all in our ‘VIP Gallery’ (a decorated and festive Tompkins Studio Hall) at the special reception to thank our members for their ongoing support and membership on Friday, October 16th.

Our guests were greeted by Building Manager Larry Morin (as he checked off their names on our ‘exclusive’ guest list) and stopped by to visit with Nora Bowes, our Membership Coordinator – many thanks to our new and renewing members for their support!

Members mingled with guests during the Gallery Hop, enjoyed a few glasses of wine on the house, feasted on tasty treats and entered ballots to win great prizes – congratulations go to Gretchen Kelbaugh, winner of a Gift Certificate for a workshop; Michael Wennberg, winner of Free Membership for a year; and Bev Oldfield, 1st prize winner of a beautiful Ray Butler print!

Many thanks go to our volunteers who helped make this event such a success: the feast-makers, our Reception Committee crew of Dianne Scott, Olive Keith, Carolyn Dannells and Mary Crilley; front desk and (un)official photographer, Gordon Anderson; and a new welcome addition, Lynn Carr, who stepped in to help wherever needed, especially as bartender extraordinaire! Thank you for your support, we couldn’t have done it without you.
