Statement

Designed by a King in the 17th century; now Home for One Man in his solitude.

In 1612, Henri IV designed and designated this area in Paris with it arcades as Place Royal. It was a residential area and playground for his friends and entourage. Today it is Place des Vosges, a playground for all and a connoisseur’s delight along the arcades during the day; but at night it becomes the street home to one man.
